With the trade deadline well past, the Phoenix Suns have limited options when it comes to making roster changes.

That said, they made a move late last week, waiving former 15th overall selection Cole Anthony.

Following that move, the Suns made a couple of signings Monday, likely finalizing their roster for the remainder of the season.

First, they signed Jamaree Bouyea to a standard contract. Bouyea had impressed for the Valley Suns in the G-League and made 33 appearances for Phoenix off the bench, averaging 6.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.8 steals in 15.5 minutes per game.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the deal is for two years.

Filling the Suns’ final standard roster spot, Phoenix had a two-way spot open after converting Bouyea.

Phoenix acted quickly to fill that spot, agreeing to sign CJ Huntley to a two-way deal according to Michael Scotto.

For the Valley Suns, Huntley has averaged 14.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and one block while shooting 62% from the field and 36.4% from three-point range.

Huntley has yet to make his NBA debut, signing with the Suns after going undrafted out of Appalachian State University.

A native of Huntersville, North Carolina, Huntley would become only the second NBA player to ever come out of Appalachian State.

Belus Smawley was the first, playing three NBA seasons after merging from the BAA (Basketball Association of America) from 1950-1952.

Huntley will have his first opportunity to debut for Phoenix Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings.
