US East Coast locals and tourists react to record snowstorm

A major snowstorm has hit parts of the East Coast. As of Monday, about 40 million people were under blizzard warnings in states including New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Long Island, and more than 600,000 homes and businesses were without power. Massachusetts is the hardest-hit state with nearly 300,000 residents without power, followed by New Jersey, where about 125,000 people are without power.
This is the first time in nine years that New York City has been under a blizzard warning.
More than 5,600 flights to and from the United States have been canceled.
