Texas Court Blocks ‘Beto Bribes’ Supporting Runaway House Democrats — O’Rourke Loses Again

A judge of the Texas District Court granted a temporary prohibition order against Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke to stop what the prosecutor General Ken Paxton described as a “regime of deceptive financial influence to finance the fugue democrats of the redistribution of the congress in the special session called by Governor Greg Abbott.
“The court concludes that the damage is imminent to the state, and if the court does not make the order for temporary prohibition, the state will be irreparably injured,” wrote the judicial court judge Megan Fahey. “More specifically, the fundraising of funds for defendants constitutes false, deceitful or deceptive acts by virtue of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Acts, Tex. Legislators, in violation of the law of Texas. »»
After submitting the trial, Paxton wrote:
The Runaways Democrats probably accept bribes to subscribe to their Jet-Set slideshow in distant places and spare political funds to pay personal expenses. This cabale loose outside the State abandons their constitutional functions. I will not authorize the failed political cases to buy elected officials from Texas. I will see you in court, Beto.
The Attorney General Paxton claimed victory following the issuance of the ban order just hours after the deposit. “The buyouts of Bribe Beto who financed the ongoing democrats were officially arrested,” Paxton said in a statement written on Friday evening. “People like Robert (O’Rourke) believe that Texas can be bought. Today, I stopped its misleading financial influence system that tried to deceive donors and overthrow our constitutional process. They told me to “come and take it”, so I did. “
Earlier Friday, the prosecutor general’s office filed a complaint against O’Rourke and his political group, powered by people. The Attorney General wrote:
Earlier in the day, the Attorney General Paxton continued O’Rourke and was propelled by people to have intentionally induced donors to finance the personal expenses of the Democrats on the run, despite advertising as a collection of political funds. By knowingly blurring the distinction, O’Rourke and propelled by people sought to take advantage of uninformed donors by directing them to explicitly political fundraising platforms, while wanting to use funds for purposes which they understood as personal expenses.
After the arguments of the lawyer’s lawyers and defendants, judge Fahey ordered:
Consequently, by this ordinance, the court makes this order for temporary prohibition, immediately holding the defendants from the following elements:
I. Use political funds for inappropriate, illegal and non -political purposes of (1) financing of travel outside the state, hotel or restaurants or services to unclussed legislators in Texas during any special legislative session called by the Governor of Texas, or (2) the financing of the payments of fines provided by the rules of Texas House for unforeseen legislative absences;
He laughs funds for non -political purposes, in particular to (1) to finance trips, hotels or restaurants outside the State or services to unjustified legislators in Texas during any special legislative session called by the Governor of Texas, or (2) payments to finance fines provided by the rules of the Texas Chamber for unclussed legislative absences;
III. Offer, confer or accept to confer, travel, hotel or restaurants or services (or funds to support these accommodation or services) to legislators who are not excused in Texas during any special legislative session called by the Governor of Texas as consideration for violation of constitutional duties of these legislators; And
IV. Deletion of any ownership or funds of the State of Texas during the suspension of this trial.
The judge said that this order would remain in force until “fourteen days after the entry or until the parties are agreed by the parties or otherwise ordered by this court, according to the first possibility.”
Judge Fahey has set a date for an hearing at the state -of -the -state application for August 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. CDT, the audience will take place in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.
