Teen found fatally stabbed on roof of garage in Jackson Heights

A 19 -year -old was found fatally stabbed on the roof of a one -floor garage in Queens, police announced.
Victim Jayson Fernandez was on 93rd St. nearly 35th Ave. In Jackson Heights around 6:15 p.m. Thursday when he was attacked, said cops.
After being stabbed in the abdomen, Fernandez fled and climbed on the roof of a garage behind a neighboring house.

The cops responding to a call at 911 found a blood swimming pool in the street and followed a blood track to the rear garage, where Fernandez was found.
Fernandez was transported urgently to the Elmhurst hospital, where he died. The teenager lived in East New York, Brooklyn, about 10 miles from where he was stabbed.
The person who stabbed him generally remained on Friday.

The cops traveled the area, looking for surveillance sequences that could help them identify the Stabber.
The investigators also examined a possible gang link with the stabs, said a police source. The teenager was only arrested once, for a turnlet, said the police.
