Man fatally stabbed after West Village subway station dispute turns deadly

Two men were stabbed, one of them dead, when a verbal dispute became violent in a metro station in downtown Manhattan on Saturday evening, said cops.
The cops responded to the premises of the bloodshed around 7:04 p.m. at the 14th St.-Seventh Ave. Station in the West Village after a dispute between three men ended with a 24 -year -old man stabbed in the lower torso and an unidentified man stabbed in the chest.
EMS transported the two men to Bellevue Hospital where the unidentified man died of his injuries. The 24 -year -old was in a stable state.

It was not immediately clear which sparked the fatal dispute, after which two people of interest were placed in police custody.
The cops had the station’s entrances blocked at 14th St. while they were investigating the crime scene on Saturday evening. The 12th St. entries were open.
A bunch of discarded medical gloves and towels could be seen right in front of a landscaping stand inside the station which was completed by adhesive tape.
On Saturday evening, no accusation had been filed.
