Inside the armoured presidential Renault built for France’s Macron
French president Emmanuel Macron received a new set of wheels in the form of armored crossover limousine built by Renault.
According to everything you can buy in the exhibition hall, the car is based on the Hyper Hybrid E-Tech 4×4 version of the Rafale and has 300 horsepower at the pressure.
With its prominent hips and a long fast roof, the car is one of the best in the range of the French car manufacturer.
“Created by an original collaboration with three between the Palais d’Elysée, Renault and several famous French craftsmen, the presidential election Renault Rafale reflects a contemporary vision of French expertise,” said Renault on its website.
Of course, any politician in the role of Macron needs close transport to the bombs test and the burst has been discreetly reinforced to resist a terrorist attack with rifles or explosives.
Without disclosing details, Renault says that armor has been optimized so that “the vehicle meets the standards expected for a mission of this type”. Renault is also silent on the price.
Other vehicles designed to protect the heads of state and influential business leaders are equipped with double glazed glass, from design to the grenades and heavy run tires.
Renault, however, noted several majestic design characteristics, including a front grille in the colors of the French flag, removable flag bearers with blue, white and red badges on the front doors.
The interior includes black marble with white veins from the Pyrenees, used on the rear central console, the dashboard and the steering wheel.
The body, in the exclusive shadow of presidential blue, has a special technology to limit heat absorption. The paint also has a blue, white and red glitter effect, visible in the sun.
At the rear, the passenger compartment is designed as an office on wheels, with a tailor -made arrangement for functional and ergonomic use.
Renault said that a lot of accent has been on thermal and acoustic comfort for passengers, with improved sound insulation and climate improvement.
The new Rafale de Macron replaces the previous presidential vehicles of DS, marking a change in the official fleet of Elysée.
