The All-New Full-Size Infiniti SUV Aiming for a Big Comeback

Infiniti made a daring movement in 2025, putting his hopes back on a full -size SUV fully redesigned. With a new striking style, advanced technology and major emphasis on luxury, this flagship model is designed to restore the brand as a serious actor on the premium market.
The SUV has a spacious and high -end cabin filled with advanced features, extensive digital exhibitions with premium materials and comfort focused on comfort. Under the hood, a powerful engine and a refined suspension promise a soft and confident driving, which you easily sail on the highway or stir.
By combining modern design with the expected capacity and prestige of a full -size SUV, Infiniti aims to attract the attention of buyers to a competitive segment. This model could be the spark that revives the presence of the brand in the luxury space, and it shows that Infiniti does not retain its push for a return.
In order to give you the most up -to -date and the most precise information as possible, the data used to compile this article from various manufacturers’ websites and other authority sources, including Toppeed and EPA.
The brand new QX80 is actually quite fantastic
As a brand, Infiniti waded since the last little moment. They had a hard time adapting to the market while heading for a new era, which was reflected in their sales. However, they seem to be running slowly but surely on a plan to change things, the new QX80 being at the center of their changing identity.

Infiniti has completely reorganized the full grandeur QX80 for the 2025 model year, rebuilding it from zero. It was put up for sale in the second half of last year, and it seems to have already increased sales a lot. In the first half of 2024, Infiniti sold 4,716 QX80 when they sold 6,936 units so far this year. This represents a fairly impressive increase of 47%.
It is not difficult to see how the new Infiniti was such a success. Even in a segment of heavy strikers, like the BMW X7 and the Mercedes-Benz GLS, it always manages to stand out. Although it is delivered with a fairly high price, with some models which jumped in the six -digit range, it is responsible for a ridiculous number of standard functionalities and is more affordable than most of its rivals.
There are four different levels of finish to choose from the QX80, the pure being the most focused on value and autograph with the best adjustments. We believe that luxury establishes a good balance, offering impressive upgrades without informing the price too much. It comes with features such as an air springs suspension system, heated and ventilated seats in the first two lines, and more.
Guarantees and maintenance
- Limited warranty: Four years or 60,000 miles
- Motopropheur group warranty: Four years or 70,000 miles
- Free maintenance: Three years or 45,000 miles
The guarantee plan offered by Infiniti is good enough for the segment. While four years is a fairly standard time for the cover of the bumper and the powertrain, the additional mileage offered is certainly useful. Infiniti covering the maintenance of your QX80 for the first three years is also a big bonus.
Infiniti has improved the interior of the QX80 so that it can finally compete
Something Infiniti is chronically guilty of their entire range is obsolete interiors. Most of the other vehicles in the Stable cabins from the Japanese brand that seem to have a late generation. The new QX80, however, shows that Infiniti is always able to provide a high -end experience that searches you and your passengers.

The QX80 is a matter of three rows, to come with chairs of second row captain. This means that the capacity of passengers is capped at seven. The three lines are quite spacious and comfortable, and you will probably not hear yourself any complaints from your passengers. The loading capacity is more than reasonable, even with the third line used. Store the third row and you will have a loading plug that offers 59 cubic feet of space.
Infiniti has used better materials in the new QX80 that you will not find it in one of their other multisgments, with almost all the surfaces covered with mild touch materials. High -end features are available, including heating, ventilation and a massage function for the first and second rows. Heating in the third row is also available. The air conditioning system is quite advanced, using an infrared camera to say when someone is too hot, cooling them automatically.
Infotainment and technology
Infiniti has not disappointed with technology in their new QX80. The great crossover uses a configuration with three screens at the front. Two 14.3-inch screens are found above the dashboard, sharing a telescope, one acting like your digital gauge display and the other as an infoding screen. The infotainment system is based on Google and is delivered with Google Maps, the Google Play App Store and the Google voice assistant. A new inch screen is below and is used only for the air conditioning system and the training mode selector.
There is a lot of technology that helps make the cabin feels a luxurious place, including an ambient interior lighting system customizable with 64 colors. There are up to eight USB ports throughout the cabin, offering a power supply to those of the three lines, as well as the wireless smartphone load cushion at the front. The proposed flagship sound system comes from Klipsch, coming from 24 speakers, with the possibility of directing specific sounds for specific passengers.
A double turbocharger V-6 replaces the V-8 in the new QX80
As has certainly become a tendency to tighten the laws on emissions, Infiniti has reduced the powertrain in the QX80. However, turbochargers have also become much more impressive, so the new V-6 in the Grand SUV is actually more powerful than the outgoing eight cylinder engine.

Under the hood of each QX80 is a V-6 with double turbocharger which is associated with an automatic transmission which changes its slip. Acceleration is impressive enough for a car that weighs nearly 6,500 pounds. Even when you put your hard foot, endangering the sound maintains the fairly silent cabin. The rear traction is standard, but each model can be equipped with four -wheel drive.
Each model other than the pure base is equipped with an advanced system of air spring suspension, which definitively improves driving and helps ride in the corners. You will never forget that it is a large SUV, however. For the most part, the QX80 is a smooth and powerful machine, although certain rough sections of the road permanently penetrate the cabin.
Capacity is an important factor when buying a large SUV like this. In addition to being fairly fast of the line, the QX80 is able to tow up to 8,500 pounds. This makes it one of the best laps of its segment, seated above the tastes of Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator and Mercedes-Benz GLS.

No one really expects a large six -digit SUV to be particularly effective, which is good because the QX80 is not. Some rivals such as the BMW X7 and the Mercedes GLS obtain slightly higher notes, the infiniti being more equally with the Navigator Lincoln and Cadillac Escalade. The rear traction models are slightly more effective on the highway, but otherwise the four -wheel drive model is identical.
