Journalists therefore asked Trump on the issue. Trump said there would be no amnesty, that they got rid of criminals.

The Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins reiterated it: “No amnesty, mass expulsion continues. But in a strategic way … Ensure that our farmers have the work they need … and heading for an American workforce.”
Labor secretary Lori Chavez-Deremer explained that they would rationalize and work on “H-programs” (temporary / seasonal programs), not to move American workers. “This does not include an amnesty program,” she said.
Can they say “no amnesty” enough? Not really.
Now there were a lot of words to sort in there. It seems that what they consider is to rationalize the coming process as a temporary worker. If it is true, then it is the people who enter legally, and not amnesty. And if they also help ensure that American workers have priority, it’s great. Everything is a question of what is used.
