A new Kindle Scribe is due out this winter, so this may be one of your last chances to get this generation at this low price.

Kindle finally introduced a color e-reader last year, and while it’s not our all-time favorite, it’s still a good color e-reader for everyone in the market. There is both a base model and a Signature model similar to the Paperwhite, and both models are on sale. The color display gives your digital library a whole new life and is a particularly good choice for graphic novel readers.

If you want a color Kindle for your child, then this is the one for you. It comes with a fun cover to keep it safe and a full year of Amazon Kids+ content that will give your child access to tons of books and other age-appropriate content. Honestly, if anyone should get a color e-reader, it’s kids. They are much more likely to reap the benefits of color than your everyday romance readers.

If you’re looking for a cheap but still great Kindle, the basic Kindle will do the trick. It’s smaller than the Paperwhite and Colorsoft with just a 6-inch screen, but performance is snappy and a clear upgrade over older models. You’ll still get adjustable (but not hot) front lighting, a dark mode, 16GB of storage, and up to six weeks of battery life.

Best Amazon Echo deals

Amazon has four new Echo devices, and one of the best is also getting a small discount. The Echo Dot Max looks like a miniaturized version of the new Echo Studio, with a dust cap-style front panel and a round body. Compared to previous Echo Dots, the sound is truly impressive. It comes at a higher price, but that small discount makes it more appealing.

Looking to spend even less? The previous Echo Dot was the fifth-generation model, and it’s still a great smart speaker. You’ll get better bass than most other speakers this size and all the benefits of Alexa in one small package.

Amazon not only launched new Echo speakers this year, but also two new Echo Show devices: the fourth-generation Echo Show 8 and the Echo Show 11. Both are the same device, but the Show 11 has the larger 11-inch screen. It’s a new size for Amazon (so far there’s been a Show 10 and a Show 15 in the larger end), and it’s already on sale. We’re still testing it, but if you think an 11-inch Alexa display would be perfect for your home, this is the perfect opportunity to buy.
