1 dead, 2 hurt in fiery multi-vehicle crash on NJ Turnpike

One person was killed and two others were injured Thursday in a chain reaction accident of five vehicles on the New Jersey Turnpike.
New Jersey state police soldiers were called in the tracks south of the canton of East Windsor, County to Mercer, around 10:30 am
The police said that a semi Freightliner tractor, a Ford F-150 van, a Kenworth semi-trailer, a Ford van and a Mercedes-Benz car all deployed south when the half-frapsho at the back of the van.
The semi then hit the Mercedes on the side and the F-150 crashed at the back of the tractor-trailer, while one of its rear wheels was disconnected and hit the van.
After the accident, the F-150 caught fire and the driver was killed. The driver of the van and Mercedes were also injured, police said.
An investigation into the accident is underway, the authorities said.
