Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Pro headset is here and ready to go viral

If the new Sony Inzone helmet is not cute enough for you, Razer just has the thing. Today, the Flashy Gaming brand has unveiled the Kraken Kitty V3 Pro, a new version of its emblematic Cat-Ear-Eard helmet (and approved by Beyoncé).
The updated headphones provide several subtle design and connectivity changes, new features designed with streamers in mind and a price of $ 20 cheaper.
The Kraken Kitty V3 Pro costs $ 179.99 in black, white and quartz (pink), and it is now available on Amazon, Best Buy and Razer’s website. It works with PC, Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices; A Razer representative confirmed that he was not under license for Xbox consoles. Razer also launched a more affordable wired variant, the Kraken Kitty V3 X, at a price of $ 59.99.
Mashable has tested the new Kraken Kitty V3 Pro helmet, and we will have more to share soon.

Where to buy the Razer Kraken Kitty V3 Pro:

What’s new with the Kraken Kitty V3 Pro?
This is the third iteration of the favorite streamer Kraken Kitty Pro, which Razer made his debut in 2019 and upgraded in 2022 with swapped ear forms. This time, Razer is committed to pointing cat ears and slipped the shape of the cups of a few millimeters for a more polite look. He also put the cups on a pivot for a more comfortable adjustment and a better seal. They have no noise cancellation, but they should adapt enough to your head to block a lot of surrounding noise.
The cups of Kraken Kitty V3 Pro are now made with memory foam and a “leather” in protein easier to wipe than the half-mid-mire material from the previous version.

The sides of the cups and ears themselves have a RGB lighting of chroma with nine zones which can produce pulsating and swirling effects, a characteristic adopted from the Standard Kraken line (non-Kitty) of Razer. The lighting effects are reactive, which means that they can synchronize with the action at stake – if you undergo damage, for example, the ears will flash in red. (This currently works with more than 300 titles.)
The user can also customize the cups of the helmet to flash certain colors and patterns in accordance with Twitch chat alerts; A new submarine could signify an arc-en-ciel undulation.

The Kraken Kitty V3 PRO has 40 mm drivers inside, a slight demotion compared to the 50 mm 50 mm pilots of Kraken Kraty V2 Pro from 1999. However, it provides additional support for the Advanced Thx Spatial Audio (instead of simulated surround sound) for more immersive experience.
The microphone on the Kraken Kitty V3 Pro is now retractable, and it adapts completely to the outside of the left ear cup when it is not used.
The Kraken Kitty V2 Pro was limited to the wired game, but its successor is now supporting two wireless modes: Bluetooth and Razer Hyperspeed, an owner technology that would be faster. (It works with a USB-C Dongle.) You can press a button on its right ear cup to switch between the two wireless modes.

Razer has the Kraken Kitty V3 Pro evaluated up to 70 hours of battery life without chroma and up to 20 hours per load with all its lighting. It comes with a USB-A cable to USB-C Detachable so that you can always play it in wired mode, and the helmet will also take care at the same time.
The Kraken Kitty family grows
Razer is still broadening the Kraken Kitty range with the release of the New Kraken Kitty V3 X, which has a lighter wired design with 40 mm drivers and surround sound. It does not come with the swivel cups of V3 Pro, the Chroma RVB lighting or the retractable microphone, but at $ 59.99, it is a much cheaper entry point.
Razer will continue to sell the Kraken Kitty V2 BT 2023, a wireless chat helmet at $ 99.99 with RGB chroma, as a mid -range option.
