Wow, Thursday just wasn’t the best day for the Democrats, was it? One after another, we’ve seen members of their leadership limp in front of media microphones and cameras in a lame attempt to blame Schumer’s shutdown on Republicans and President Donald Trump — whether Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) himself or House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries as the main subject.

Republicans are turning the tables on tired narratives, left and right, which must really upset old Chuck and his friend Hakeem.

The day isn’t over, and it’s only going to get worse for them, I fear, with a new video produced by the Trump administration soon to be released to airports across America.

Republicans blast Schumer after he makes damning admission about shutting down

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) created the clip, which is a video message from Secretary of State Kristi Noem on how the Schumer shutdown is affecting air travel, and it will be shown on monitors at U.S. public airports, ensuring travelers know why there are delays and reassuring the public. Fox News reporter Preston Mizell has the scoop, sharing the new clip on his X account on Thursday:

In the video announcement, Sec. Noem emphasizes that the Transportation and Security Administration’s (TSA) “top priority” is for travelers to have “the most efficient and pleasant airport experience possible, while keeping you safe.”

“However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government and as a result, many of our operations are affected and most of our TSA employees are working without pay,” she added.

“We will continue to do everything possible to avoid delays that will impact your travel,” Sec.Noem continued. “And we hope that Democrats will soon recognize the importance of open government.”

Now that’s how it happens. While we don’t know how long the Democratic shutdown’s kabuki theater will last, this video is sure to dampen the enthusiasm that was beginning to build on the left over air traffic issues, which could force Republicans to cave in the face of the shutdown. Team Trump, as usual, is five moves ahead on the board.

Also, as for the announcement message, it is likely to boost the morale of airline passengers, because, if we are honest, almost everything is better and more engaging than what could be broadcast on TVs permanently tuned to CNN in the boarding areas.
