The iPhone 17 Hasn’t Been Announced Yet, but There’s Already a Case for It

One of the first cases to The iPhone 17 made its appearance. The Canadian Society for Technological Accessories DBRAND has announced that its tank case for the iPhone 17 should be sold in September, the same month that we expect from Apple that it announces the long -awaited iPhone 17.
Although we do not yet know the price of the tank case, DBRAND has certainly made striking design choices in the hard black hull case, including many codes of number, the Freemason eye of Providence in what looks like a center designed for Magsafe connections and what seems to be Braille. DBRAND is light on the details yet, but you can register with your e-mail address to obtain notifications on the case.
A representative of DBRAND did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
Patrick Holland, editor -in -chief of CNET and Mobile guru, warns that these designs of annular phones do not always end up arriving on the release date. Holland saw this happen last year, when some manufacturers were forced to press quick overhaul to make room for the iPhone 16 surprise camera control button.
“It has become an annual tradition,” said Holland. “We see companies trying to be the first with a new case design for the latest iPhone, even if the phone was not announced by Apple.”
“For DBRAND, it is not clear if the tank case is designed on the basis of rumors, or if the company has had an early overview of the iPhone 17 series or has received a dummy model,” said Holland. “The case has a full -width camera bump that has been strongly disclosed for the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. There is one thing that is certain: the dbrand tank case seems rude and busy, especially for a new elegant iPhone.”
This is why we also keep an eye on all the latest reports of the functionality of the iPhone 17, including rumors of a redesigned camera bump and a mobile lens that could launch a curve ball for third-party cases like this.
Buzz on social networks
The commentators on X shared a variety of opinions on the case. While a person wrote: “This case looks like,” wrote another: “This affair looks hideous.”
Commentators also wondered if the design of cases revealed certain details before unknown on the iPhone 17.
“So the second button is fundamentally confirmed?” A commentator X wrote. “Why would the case wear an area that looks presable or” glirable “otherwise?”
Another wrote: “Do I see this correctly? Three cameras on a basic iPhone model.”
Others have focused on the idea that Apple probably does not want the case manufacturers to reveal details on a phone before the company announces it, noting that DBRAND also unveiled a case for the Nintendo Switch 2 before the console.
“First of all the Switch 2, now the iPhone 17,” wrote the only commentator. “Yeah, they never get shit early to make cases.”
