Leftist NC Supreme Court Justice Tells Us Who She Really Is Again, and Voters Should Take Notice – RedState
In mid-November, we reported on a public war of words between two members of the North Carolina Supreme Court, which played out against the backdrop of the CBP/ICE raids taking place at the time in cities like Charlotte and Raleigh.

Berger was 100% correct in his assessment, and that should have ended this discussion. But Monday, Dec. 1, was the first day candidates could run for election and re-election in North Carolina, and when Earls was asked about Berger’s remarks, here’s what she had to say:

Earls has faced ethics questions related to partisan statements before, and while saying the silent part out loud is certainly a gift to the GOP, she proves once again that she just doesn’t get it. While this may not constitute an ethics violation, it should certainly raise serious questions in the court of public opinion about her ability (or lack of ability) to be impartial.
Then again, Earls never hesitated to wear his enlightenment on his sleeve like a badge of honor. For example, on the “about” page of her campaign website, she proudly boasts of her past as a social justice activist, including serving on a committee created by the government of the day. Roy Cooper (D), who many in North Carolina have blamed in part for allowing repeat offenders like Iryna Zarutska’s alleged killer, Decarlos Brown, Jr., to continue to violently victimize people:
Judge Earls is the founder of the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting racial and social justice through advocacy, of which she served as executive director for a decade.

The current split on the North Carolina Supreme Court is 5-2 Republicans, and Democrats are desperate to regain control through the 2026 and 2028 election cycles, before the 2030 census and the inevitable redistricting that will take place again. Defeating Earls in 2026 will be a crucial first step in ensuring that reason continues to prevail on our state’s highest court.
