Eat Here and Get Recharged: Tesla Opens a Drive-in Diner

Tesla launched a retro -inspired training restaurant which serves as an electric vehicle load station.
Electricity-developing company, known more for autonomous cars and its CEO of the head, Elon Musk, announced that its Drive-In Dinner at the 7001 West Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood, California, is open to business. The place also serves as an electric vehicle load station with 80 V4 compressor stands, “by making the largest urban supercharging station in the world”, according to the dinner website.
But while you wait, you can pass a cup of Waygu’s beef with the restaurant family or the comfort of your vehicle (maybe save the chili to eat in restaurants to avoid any unpleasant spill). You do not have to drive a tesla to eat there – the charger stands are open to all NACS compatible electric vehicles – but you need your Tesla touch screen to order in advance and see what is then played on one of the two 66 -foot megascasreaux LEDs the two -story restaurant sports.
Dinner praises a “retro-future” menu, with a typical range of dishes inspired by dinner, although at a premium price. Technological journalist Sawyer Merritt shared menu prices, which include $ 13 for a hot dog and $ 15 for fried chicken and waffles. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day, offering breakfast options, including tacos for breakfast for $ 9 and lawyer for $ 11.
Musk declared in an article on X that if the first foray proved a success, more guests could come to other cities in the world.
CNET reported in 2021 for the first time at Tesla’s request for a patent for the name Tesla for use on goods and services, which included restaurants.
