Everything coming to HBO Max in January 2026

I’ll tell you what—you can keep that celebratory spirit going right through the New Year on HBO Max. The streamer has just released their January lineup, and it features several big reasons to keep the party going, which is good news for you.
The biggest of those is HBO Max’s lineup of new and returning original series. We can finally hop off those pins and needles, because not only is The Pitt back early with its highly anticipated second season, but the new George R.R. Martin series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, also makes its series premiere mid-month. Additionally, Industry returns with season 4, and Real Time With Bill Maher is back with season 24.
In addition to two new original documentaries—one of which excitedly explores the man, the myth, the legend, life, and career of 99-year-old Mel Brooks, we’re also getting a slew of hit movies (check out those January 1 arrivals!) and the streaming debuts of two 2025 award-nominated films. You’ll soon be able to watch the new Dwayne Johnson-led biographical sports drama about UFC fighting legend Mark Kerr, The Smashing Machine, and the acclaimed Rose Byrne psycho-thriller boasting a 92% Rotten Tomatoes score, If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. You certainly don’t want to overlook those two flicks.
