The Sick Media Clip on the Military and ‘Illegal Orders’ Folks Are Pointing to After NG Terrorist Attack – RedState

Trump Derangement Syndrome is hurting people, which we have unfortunately seen happen at a dangerous level over the past two years, particularly with two assassination attempts against Donald Trump during the 2024 campaign and the repeated violent attacks on ICE agents this year, to name just a few of many examples.

Last June, President Trump’s announcement to send the National Guard to Los Angeles to help quell anti-ICE riots, and then to Washington two months later to help combat violent crime, provoked a storm of criticism from the mainstream media and the left, the latter of which launched lawsuits against the Trump administration over some of the orders.

The accusations were fast and furious and, some would say, inflammatory. Potential 2028 Democratic presidential candidates, such as Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and California Governor Gavin Newsom, were among the loudest voices claiming without evidence that Trump’s decision was a precursor to using the military to help “steal” the 2026 and 2028 elections for the Republican Party.

In fact, what the “Seditious Six” were undoubtedly insinuating in the scripted video they released last week was that some of the orders already followed by our military were “illegal orders,” in some cases allegedly carried out against American citizens, even though publicly, the six members of Congress in the video refused or could not cite a single example.

With all of this in mind, and with the horrific terrorist attack on two members of the West Virginia National Guard in Washington on Wednesday that left them in critical condition, we turn to a Tuesday night MSNBC segment that’s getting particular attention.

Watch below as MSNBC anchor Jen Psaki, Joe Biden’s former press secretary, pressed former Washington Assistant U.S. Attorney Glenn Kirschner on whether there would and should be consequences for members of the armed forces if they carried out an alleged “unlawful order.” Be sure to take note of the Nazi comparisons:

Psaki and MSNOW Amplify “Democrats Will Prosecute Anyone Who Participates in Mark Kelly Investigation” Intimidation Campaign:

Psaki: “What do you think should be the consequences for people who comply with these measures from the commander in chief? »

Kirschner: “They’re following illegal orders from Donald Trump. And if you’re committing crimes and your defense is, ‘I was just following orders,’ you know, that didn’t work so well at Nuremberg.”

“When the rule of law comes back into the open, this problem will have to be addressed. They will have to be held accountable for these abuses.”

To be absolutely clear, the motive of the suspect in the domestic terrorist attack against the two National Guard members is not yet known. But thinking about what happened in our nation’s capital, just steps from the White House, people naturally thought:

As a reminder, here is what Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), one of the deputies in the “seditious six” video, said on Sunday:

It was Pritkzer two months ago:

Here’s CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Monday, making a “following orders” Nazi comparison to the U.S. military in an exchange with GOP Conference Chair Lisa McClain (MI-09):

BLITZER: Yes, they continue to point out that during World War II, these Nazi officers followed the chain of command. They were following illegal orders and they massacred Jews during the Holocaust, which was clearly illegal. But they were – at Nuremberg, during the trials of these Nazi generals, they said they were just following orders. And therefore, in the United States, they don’t want the military to do this.

MCCLAIN: That’s right. And I think we are far from the Nuremberg trials and the massacre of the Jews. If you want to talk about the massacre of the Jews, we can have this conversation all the time. Maybe that will be for another time, with all the rhetoric from the other side of the aisle.

Watch:

Again, the motives of the DC terrorist are unknown, but it wouldn’t shock anyone if it were discovered that he is a left-wing radical inspired by the vile rhetoric coming from The Usual Suspects on the left and in the MSM.
