The South China Sea team is no longer at the U.S. State Department : NPR

The State Department has closed the team involved in the security of the Southern China Sea, getting rid of the main experts on the subject, at a time when the administration affirms that security in the region is a priority. NPR spoke to several members of the team who have been dismissed, who say that there is no one to replace them.
