The M5 MacBook Pro could be coming as soon as next week

Apple could launch a new M5 version of the MacBook Pro from next week, based on suspicious and delayed delivery estimates of certain current models.
Published yesterday on Twitter/X, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman noted that personalized configurations of the 14 -inch macBook Pro “are limited until the end of October”. This means that if you order today, your MacBook may not be delivered for several weeks, some models of the American store to arrive until October 28.
And this does not only concern the United States, as I discovered by checking my local window. At the time of writing this article, the 14-inch M4 Pro with 512 GB of storage is available on the British Apple store for delivery tomorrow, but the modification of practically any element of the configuration (addition of a nano-texture screen, upgrade to 24 GB or 32 GB of RAM, increase in storage or even grouping of a higher power sector) modifies the delivery estimate from October 23 to 28.
In general, such generalized stock breaks would be a strong indicator that Apple finished the production of a line for its replacement. And in this case, there are many other evidence to support the imminent launch of the MacBook Pro M5.
At the end of September, the FCC published documents concerning several unpublished Apple devices and one of them seemed to be a MacBook Pro M5. Gurman himself, meanwhile, recently said that the M5 laptop was “close to mass production”.
In response to Gurman’s tweet, Vadim Yuryev, host of the YouTube Max Tech channel, responded with a surprisingly confident prediction. “3 days of launching M5 flea products next week from Monday or Tuesday,” he wrote. “M. MacBook Pro M5 model only, M5 iPad Pro, M5 Vision Pro.” It’s Monday/Tuesday October 13/14.
Yuryev has not mentioned any source, so it may be better to take this rumor with tweezers, but the timing is certainly aligning. And the weight of the proof that a new MacBook Pro will soon come over. For all the latest news and rumors, consult our superguide of the MacBook Pro M5 regularly updated.
