Video tops out at 1080p and isn’t ultra-smooth, but it’s detailed enough to identify someone approaching your door, and its 125-degree field of view captures a wide swath of terrain without the heavy curve you get with some wide-angle lenses. At night, you can switch from standard infrared to black-and-white video or use the built-in projector to capture color footage. There is also a two-way audio system for speaking to visitors and a built-in siren if you want an audible alert.
