EXCLUSIVE: Tom Emmer Says That Crime Is No. 1 Issue That Can Cost Dems The Midterms

The whip of the majority of the chamber, Tom Emmer, urges the Republicans to highlight their support for the efforts to repress the crime of President Donald Trump, arguing that voters will reject democrats in the polls to support Soft-On-Crime policies that will make their own communities less safe.

Emmer, the third highest republican of the highest room, told Daily Caller News Foundation in a recent interview which he expects to expect law and order problems to dominate the environment, labeling crime the number one issue on the spirit of voters. EMMER referred to an AP -NARC August survey which revealed that 81% of Americans – including 68% of Democrats and 96% of Republicans – consider crime as a “major problem” in major cities. The majority of voters also approve the treatment of crime by President Donald Trump, according to the survey.

“When one party offers you security and security and the other offers you more crime and chaos – which one do you think you are going to choose when you enter the polls?” Emmer told DCNF. “The answer is clear. He will reflect himself a lot at mid-term next year. ”

EMMER spoke to the DCNF following the fatal stab wounds in Ukrainian refugees Iryna Zarutska who sought security in the United States in the war in Ukraine. The 23 -year -old woman was brutally murdered by the recurrences Decartlos Brown Jr., 34, on a Light Rail Charlotte train on August 22.

Emmer and other GOP leaders hammered the Democrats for having supported gentle policies that allowed recurrences like Brown to walk freely despite countless arrests and history of mental illness. Brown had already been arrested 14 times in Northern Carolina and was on deposit without cash when he murdered Zarutska.

“The contrast could not be clearer: President Trump and the Republicans restore law and order, while Democrats apologize and leave innocent victims to fend for themselves,” added Marinella.

The majority whip also criticized the Democrats for not recognizing the success of the repression of Trump’s DC crime.

The police have carried out more than 2,100 arrests, including 20 known gang members, since the start of the federal takeover of the DC president, a White House official said on Tuesday. At least seven missing children were also found.

Democrats, however, have responded largely to Trump’s crime prevention efforts by citing statistics to say that crime in the national capital is decreasing. The Chamber’s Supervisory Committee is investigating whether the main officials of the application of DC laws have manipulated statistics to underestimate crimes in the national capital following the allegations of a denunciator.

Democrats also used hyperbolic rhetoric with the Democratic representative of California, Ted Location, comparing the temporary takeover by Trump of the DC police department and the deployment of national guard troops to the North Korean authoritarian government.

EMMER said he was focused on the encouragement of the slate of the country’s democratic governors, including Tim Walz of his original state, Minnesota, to cooperate with Trump to fight crime. The majority whip invoked the mayor of DC Muriel Bowser who recently signed an executive decree to extend the cooperation of the DC police service indefinitely with the federal authorities.
