The wafer-thin iPhone Air is surprisingly strong

You would be forgiven to assume that iPhone air would break like a pressure twig. It is almost incredibly thin at only 5.6 mm. But, its titanium frame is not only stronger than aluminum, it is also more elastic. YouTuber Jerryrigevery Thison demonstrates this with its usual turn test. Although he is able to obtain a slight inclination by pressing his thumbs in the center of the screen with all his forces, he does not crack and immediately returns to his original form.

Not happy to be thwarted by the Apple engineering team (and perhaps feeling a little disappointed that the last devices of its channel have survived the turn test), Jerryrigevery Three makes a trip to his garage. With the help of a crane ladder and a few metal bars, it is able to discover exactly the pressure necessary to break the air of the iPhone – 216 pounds.
