U.S. threatens California with legal action over transgender sports law

Educational secretary Linda McMahon threatened the state of California on Monday after the state refused to ban transgender girls from participating in the sports of girls, as required by the administration of President Donald Trump.
“@Cagovernor, you will hear from @AGpambondi,” wrote McMahon, using the handles for the governor of California Newsom and the American prosecutor Pam Bondi.
McMahon’s Declaration on X was the last salvo of cultural culture on young transgender people and clicks in the personal rivalry between Trump and Newsom. Trump has made the inversion of the advances in transgender rights a priority since its return to functions on January 20, while California’s law has enabled students-athletes to participate in sports in their gender identity since 2013.
The Ministry of Justice refused to comment and the Department of Education did not immediately respond to a request for clarification of Reuters on the meaning of McMahon’s comment.
The California State Education Department did not immediately respond to a request for comments. The Newsom office and the California Interscholastic Federation, the High Sports Director of Sports, refused to comment.
The American Ministry of Education has published a declaration in June declaring California in violation of the Trump Administration of Title IV, the education law prohibiting discrimination based on sex and demanding that the State modify its policy. The State rejected the Federal Government Directive and in June filed a prior trial for the constraint against the United States Ministry of Justice in anticipation of legal action.
With the controversy which is preparing before the athletics championship of the State High School in June, the CIF allowed the displaced girls of the final by a transgender athlete to also be granted space to compete. The CIF also allowed the girls to appear on the podium of the winners if they had won a medal without a transgender athlete in competition.
Consequently, the CIF crowned two champions in the height jump of the girls and the triple jump after the transgender girl Ab Hernandez won the two events.
