The YouTube-famous Raycon Everyday Earbuds are actually worth it

Here is the thing: I don’t want to or that I don’t need budgetary headphones to try to execute them only $ 450 flagship headphones.

However, as a person who tests the range of headphones and headphones for a living, I know that cheaper options will certainly try. Although some allow above their weight category in certain areas, they almost certainly fall flat in others, trying to make premium functions like 20 equalizer parameters which ring all the same or too sensitive touch controls which are more in difficulty than they are worth. So when I saw everyday headphones Raycon start to appear in many YouTube sponsorships, I thought they could fall into this class of budgetary headphones. I was wrong.

The everyday headphones Raycon succeed because they know exactly what they are: relatively affordable headphones, intended not to impress, but to be reliable and practical to use. With them with $ 79.99 (or $ 63.99 If you can recover them on sale), I don’t need these headphones to provide a super involved application experience or the best active noise cancellation on the market. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that these headphones did not even have a companion application.

This is where I will say something radical: I don’t think each device in our life needs a companion application. I imagine that part of the appeal of the wired headphones is that you can plug and play. For me, everyday buds Raycon are as close as possible to this experience. You open the case, they connect to your device and you use them. Revolutionary!

This does not mean that they lack features: they have decent preset equalizer options and the possibility of activating the voice assistant of a phone. You only agree with all these features via touch controls on goals, which is a genius Decision for budgetary headphones – I saw too many goals of less than $ 100 being victims of bank tactile controls (including my favorite budgetary headphones) to believe that it can be done well.

Their battery life is also excellent, lasting eight hours per load (and 32 hours with the case). The IPX4 note and the lower price mean that you can wear them while you work or working without worries, and the five gel tips allowed me to find a comfortable adjustment. The sound quality and the ANC, although nothing incredible, are simply solidly good. Honestly, they showed their lowest price in their lack of Bluetooth button, which means that without an application, you must inappropriate from all devices if you want to connect them to other devices. My slight discomfort of this was attenuated by the fact that they changed between two paired devices better than the headphones twice their price. And as a bonus, they are incredibly compact – as small enough to integrate into almost all the pockets.

With everyday headphones Raycon, you get what you pay – but in the best possible way.
