There Is No Value in an Echo Chamber – RedState

One of the main Achilles heels on the left is its inability to tolerate dissent. Once an official story or a walking order is given, the leftists fall into the media step at your faithful blue neighbor in the wool.
The beehive mentality has its advantages. It is certainly easier to bring people to queue and execute a program when no one complicates the pace of walking, but it is also a temporary boon. We are not bees or ants. At one point, human nature prevails and someone will want something more, or something more, and the formerly well -oiled machine that has won elections and triggered movements begins to vacillate, then crash.
You now see him in the Democratic Party, because the radicalism with which they flirted to obtain votes now consumes the party and kills its momentum. The American people move away, and even the Democrats seem more and more warm on their direction.
The fact is that it is easier to fall into this mentality than you think, and this generally happens when the realization or maintenance of victory is the agenda, and it is an error that I pray that the conservatives do not make themselves. Donald Trump’s victory was not only a victory for the Republicans; He marked an incredible cultural turn in human history, and which we will talk about for decades to come.
A kind of fear is accompanied by such a great victory. Many are on the success of this tower, because if it maintains, then we change the course of our nation for the best, and we will enter another golden era as promised by the Trump administration. I have an absolute faith that will happen, but many believe that it means that questions cannot be asked, dissatisfaction should be rejected and that jokes should not be made.
If it flows contrary to the political body, it must be destroyed.
Thursday, I wrote a play by reviewing the first two episodes of the last season of South Park, a season that satiated the Trump administration quite strongly. To write this article, I wanted to confirm that I am a long -standing fan of the show and that I judged him of this prospect, not necessarily from the point of view of a supporter of Trump. I had already seen a lot of columns posted from this angle, and I wanted to give one that was a little more nuanced.

My judgment on the episodes did not come to the defense of the Trump administration as the others had done, and I judged the program on the quality of the jokes made, not from whom they were talking. I also used my knowledge of the show and comic style of the creators of shows Matt Stone and Trey Parker to criticize and predictions about the management of the season.
There were quite a few people who did not agree with my catch … and it’s great.
I love that comments on my articles are filled with different opinions, debates and discussions. It is healthy not to agree and see the views of the other, even if they come from opposite angles. Someone could have different information, knowledge, life experiences, and this, which can change the mind of a person or shed light on a subject of conversation that makes the image a little clearer.
Redstate is, and has always been, a place where the diversity of opinion has been appreciated and encouraged. Our writers, although all conservatives and pro-life, have varying opinions on politics and culture. Even when we agree, why we agree could even be different.
In fact, on this very subject, my friend and colleague Nick Arama did not think at all that the episodes were funny, and you can find yourself more in line with this thought, while the others could be more linked to my point of view.

However, others did not like that the article was written at all. This is something that I see from time to time and on a myriad of subjects. Requests are made so that we stop “wasting our time” on certain cultural subjects, or that certain expressions of opinions on a subject should not be authorized because they are not outside of traditional conservative opinion or do not supplement the politically political body.
And this is where I have a problem.
I want to be very, very clear on something, and I think I can speak for the rest of my colleagues here when I say this:
We will never insult your intelligence by telling you what you to want hear. We will never caress your ego for money or just to make you read more.
We are a group of writers who will give you facts and opinions to the best of our capacities – not as brick writers in the wall who obey a specific story – but as independent minds with a diversified fan of perspectives, interests and concentrations. We think it is the most honest and most respectful way to be a writer.
This means that you have a plethora of authors and subjects here in Redstate that you can choose who can sting your interest … but it also means that you will meet subjects, comments and opinions that you do not like or that you are not interested. Again, if you disagree, do not hesitate to express why. Start a living (but civil) debate.
But we must be careful not to fall into the trap in which the left has been found and require ideological uniformity or demand that articles or opinions are never written simply because the subject is not interesting for a particular individual, or because they could disagree with expressed opinion. Not used to think that freedom of expression is only authorized if it agrees with your feelings.
We are champions of freedom of expression. We will sort the disagreements using the respectful debate and expression, not by silence and censorship. We appreciate different opinions and do not create ideological bubbles around us where we grow more and more ignorant of the outside world, and we say comforting lies that slowly erude our mind and mind.
We are free people with free minds, and we are happy that you are here as part of our community.
