These Are the Photoshop AI Tools Worth Using: How I Use AI to Edit My Photos
You don’t need to be a Photoshop expert to give its new generative AI test a test. Adobe has added a number of AI features to its first photo editor in recent years, and if you regularly use Photoshop, you have probably seen them appear on your task bars. I spend a lot of time examining AI image generators and other AI creative software, so I had to put the AI of the original photo editor.
AI may not be right for each project, especially for professional creators who regularly use Photoshop. What I found is that there are good tools that can help your creative workflows, but you have to spend a little time at the start to know the options. Generative fill is like a miniaturized AI image generator. This is one of the most popular AI tools in Photoshop. With generative filling, you can select a specific region of your project, enter a text prompt and create a new design for this area. You can find a generative filling by going to the edition> a generative filling. Make sure to use the selection brush tool. Mark the area you want the elements to appear, enter your prompt and click Generate.
Generative expansion is useful when you need more space in an image. You can create new sections of your image to mix transparently with your current image where you can enter a text prompt and create new landscapes. You can also use it to enlarge your project. To access Generative Expand, select the cropping tool, remove your canvas to the size you want, enter a prompt if you wish and click Generate.

Generative deletion is like an AI surface gum. The tool isolates and removes certain elements from your project without disturbing the whole image. There are two ways to remove objects from your work. The first consists in selecting the object with the object selection tool, click on generative replace and put the word “delete” in the prompt. Otherwise, you can use the deletion tool (spot healing tool> Delete the tool) to manually highlight the objects you want to erase.

Other AI tools that you can try in Photoshop
Sky replacement is a cool AI tool that can add drama to your landscapes. You can create an alternative sky by sailing towards replacement of the sky and selecting in a variety of choices, including sunsets, a blue sky and colored options labeled “spectacular”. Once you have chosen a preset that you like, you can manually adjust the brightness and other elements.

Generate a background Works well for product photography or other photos where the subject or object is the focal point of the image. Download your snapshot on Photoshop, click Delete the background of the contextual task bar (the spindle box that appears when you select the layer) and click Generate the background. Some of the horizons prove better than others. The cities I generated seemed a kind of false, but colored or patterned backgrounds appeared.
There are other AI tools that may suit you to your project. Neuronal filters can be used in a more detailed photo editing, and the curvature pen Can help designers make more coherent arcs. We also expect to see more mounting tools fed by AI introduced into Photoshop this year.
Overall, the AI suite of Photoshop has performed well. Some tools have been useful, but you should know what the tools are designed to be used to get the best results. For example, the generative extension was good to resize the photos, and I found that generative withdraw excellent to erase photobombing objects. Other tools, such as the sky replacement tool, worked for certain photos but not in others. I will not use Photoshop AI for each project, but I think there could be times when it is a good option.
