They Thought It Was Just a Fishing Trip—Then a Bald Eagle Appeared

A father and son fishing trip to Canada was joined by a special visitor, whom they perfectly captured on the film, leaving the Internet amazed.
Jeremy Newfarmer and his father made a week -long fishing trip to Manitoba, Canada in early August. He said Nowsweek It was his fifth trip with his father to the region. However, this trip stood out because of the narrow meeting they had with a white -headed pygargue.
“I saw a lot of white-headed pygargues every time I take a trip there,” said Newfarmer.
The region has experienced an increase in observations of the white -headed pygargue since the company changed the use of pesticides which had an impact on the population of birds, according to CTV News.
Once on the verge of extinction, the white -headed pygargue thrives in North America. The American Eagle Foundation believes that there is approximately 316,700 white-headed pygargues, including 71,400 nesting pairs, in the contiguous United States.
During his stay on Elbow Lake, the two spotted an eagle approaching. The bird slipped into the air, browsing the water for prey. But he did not catch a fish during the first try, and when Newfarmer saw the eagle back, he quickly caught his phone and started to record.

The eagle plunged for a second time, right next to the place where the father-son duo fished. In a rapid movement, the eagle torn off a fish from the lake and continued to fly without jumping a beat.
“It’s always one of the coolest moments that I have ever recorded in Canada,” he said.
Newfarmer’s brother shared his video on R / Intrintciationatasf *** from Reddit, who quickly raised more than 57,000 votes and 908 comments. He said it was the first thing he sent once he reached cellular service.
The video was turned in slow motion to give viewers a more in -depth examination of the majestic animal because it happened in the blink of an eye.
“It was incredible, a cry from the cameraman for Nat gunshots,” said a reditor.
“What an incredible thing to attend so close!” Another commentator said.
“This video would make you believe that these Eagles never miss, but in the same region in British Columbia, I watched the Eagles stop and miss all day. Incredible video,” said a third commentator.
