Black Friday sales seem to come earlier every year. Blessing or curse? You decide, but before you do, take a look at this 15.6-inch Dell laptop. It packs a solid AMD Ryzen processor, 16GB of RAM, and a spacious 1TB of storage, all for $519.99. But hurry, the price is only valid for today.
This 2023 laptop felt a bit low-end in 2023, despite its $800 price tag. But with almost $300 off, the value for money seems much better. This Ryzen 7730U is a solid 8-core chip with integrated graphics capable of handling some mid-range games, and 16GB of RAM is the least I’d recommend for Windows 11. A terabyte of storage is a rare upgrade in this price range.
The rest of the hardware is nothing to write home about, with a standard resolution of 1080p and 60Hz on the 15.6-inch LCD screen. But those looking for a laptop with a little wiggle room will appreciate the full-size keyboard with numeric keypad, and thanks to USB-C, dual USB-A, and HDMI ports, as well as a headphone jack and SD card reader, you won’t need to stash dongles in your laptop bag.
Battery life probably isn’t amazing thanks to a 3-cell battery, and at over four pounds, it’s not the lightest machine on the market either. But if you need a reliable laptop that can handle standard workloads and some light gaming on the side, this is a good deal.
