This Rally Orbital Massager Is My Tech Upgrade of the Week

There’s something very satisfying about starting a new year with an upgrade that actually makes a difference in your daily routine. After years of using my traditional percussion massage guns, I switched to the Rally Orbital Massager. And one by one, my friends began to follow in my footsteps to take the same step. Hey, there’s something empowering about seeing people you trust independently come to the same conclusion.
Why I love the Rally Orbital Massager
Don’t get me wrong, my Theragun still serves me well. It’s a reliable post-workout companion, helping to relieve tension and speed recovery. But with the Rally, the orbital motion technology immediately sets it apart. Instead of the percussive pounding that defines traditional massage guns, the Rally uses a circular, multi-directional approach that feels more like the hands of a trained massage therapist. (Or like a car buffer, as the founders described it to me in a phone call.)
I’m just more likely to choose a device that feels good to use rather than one that hurts. This is a game changer in terms of consistency. With my old massage gun, I let off steam before the sessions: “Do I really need this? Can I handle the intensity now? » With the Rally, there are no mental barriers. I can use it while watching TV, during breaks at work, or as part of my bedtime routine, without dreading the experience.
At the same time, let me be frank: At $499 regularly (and currently on sale for $399), the Rally Orbital Masseur is not cheap. This is a significant price increase over most massage guns on the market, including the Theragun. It’s probably not an impulse buy. Still, it’s an investment that helps me maintain the active lifestyle I value.
What do you think of it so far?
The essentials
Starting 2026 with this upgrade sounds good. My Theragun will always have a place in my recovery arsenal – it’s far too useful to retire completely – but the Rally has quickly become my device of choice. The difference in how my muscles feel, the reduction in soreness, and the overall quality of the recovery experience makes it all worth it.
If you are serious about recovery and are able to make the investment, I encourage you to try at least one. Based on the conversion rate of my friend group, there’s a good chance you’ll join the rally revolution too. On the road to a year of better recovery, less pain and smarter investments in our health.
