Mofida Majzoub supervises a mine clearance operation in Lebanon. A former wedding photographer, Majzoub changed careers to help people living in areas contaminated by landmines.

The Mines Advisory Group has been eliminating landmines for more than three decades. This year, he received the Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Award, a prestigious award with a $3 million prize.
