Three People Shot in Gun-Free Times Square
Evergytown for the safety of firearms, affiliated with Mike Bloomberg, classifies the number four of New York in the country for the legislation of the firearms, but three people were killed on Saturday in Gun-Frreee Times Square just before 1:30 am
The Daily Mail said that the shooting had taken place on 44th Street and 7th Avenue. One of the injured was an 18 -year -old woman, and the other two injured were men, 19 and 65 years old.
None of the ball injuries were fatal.
ABC News noted that a 17 -year -old was arrested as part of the shooting, which would have taken place following an argument between the 17 -year -old and the 19 -year -old young man.
Police do not know if the 17 -year -old and the 19 -year -old knew each other.
New York has a ban on “assault weapons”, a “high -capacity” magazine ban, increased requirements for checking history, a law on red flag, a ban on bump actions and a prohibition of firearms in Times Square which even prohibits concealer, authorized to be armed for legitimate defense.
On July 28, 2025, a lonely shooter opened fire in an office building in Manhattan and killed four people, including a New York police officer.
