October promises to be a great month for the CMLL with regard to the female struggle, because the promotion consists not only in organizing the CMLL universal female championship tournament for its female list, but will organize the Gran Prix female du CMLL, featuring AEW, Stardom and other international promotions. As such, CMLL sought to strengthen their list of women and turned to a controversial old friend.

In the episode of last night of “CMLL Informa” last night, the star of the TNA, Tessa Blanchard, appeared, revealing that she would return to CMLL for the competition in the Mexico shot of October 10. Blanchard and the host “Informa” Julia Cesar Rivera recognized that Blanchard was still under contract with TNA, without mentioning them by name, but this case allowed Blanchard to continue working on CMLL dates.

Blanchard joined the CMLL in October 2023 for the first time in an attempt to rebuild her career and her reputation, which had been assembled by allegations that she made racist comments to the wrestler La Rosa Negra ago years ago years ago. Blanchard would hold the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championships with Lluvia from August 6, 2024 to December 13, 2024, when the titles were canceled once Blanchard signed with TNA. She has always been seen in CMLL’s emissions since, supporting her partner, CMLL Luchador Esfinge, in the crowd.

Blanchard did not appear in TNA since Slamniversary, where she was suspended for attacking Gia Miller. Given CMLL’s links with AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling, and TNA’s working relationship with WWE and, by extension, Lucha AAA’s promotion had WWE, Blanchard’s participation with CMLL creates which seems to be a strange situation.
