Idaho prison investigates apparent leaked Bryan Kohberger jailhouse cell video

The authorities investigate after an apparent prison video fled by showing that the murderer sentenced Bryan Kohberger in his maximum security prison cell.
The video, turned from above, shows that Kohberger apparently placing an object on a shelf while standing inside his cell.
“We are aware of the videos circulating online and investigate the issue,” said the Idaho Ministry of Correction in an article on social networks. “Although we cannot yet confirm the veracity of the videos, if they are verified, they constitute a clear violation of IDOC policy and the responsible parties will be held responsible, until and including termination.”

The ministry also warned that videos could be false or a product of artificial intelligence, while two emails had recently been sent by reminding employees of prison policy on social networks and professionalism.
“The video band and public sharing of security images are prohibited and we will examine all the legal options, including criminal proceedings.”
Kohberger is currently serving four consecutive perpetuity sentences without the possibility of conditional release to Idaho Maximum Security Institution for the 2022 Murders of four students from the Idaho University – Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle.

It is hosted in the “Bloc J of the prison”, a section of unique occupation cells which are generally reserved for high -risk prisoners which are granted only an hour of outdoor time per day, according to the Idaho correction department.
The video occurs just a few days after Kohberger complained to prison guards for being tormented by other prisoners, according to The Daily Mail.
“They literally get up in the grid and cry,” said Chris McDonough, a former detective from the Cold Case Foundation, in The Outlet. “Inmates are in turn. It’s relentless.”

In a declaration at NewspaperA spokesperson for the Idaho Correctional Services Department said: “We are aware of Kohberger’s complaints concerning what he considers the tack.”

“Incarcerated individuals generally communicate with each other in prison,” said the spokesperson. “Bryan Kohberger is hosted alone in a cell, and IDOC security personnel maintains a safe and ordered environment for all people in our care.”
