Will the edge be short of words?

When Bordle started, creator Josh Wardle used a list of five -letters that he had shared with his partner, choosing only the words they recognized. Although this represents more than 2,000 words, more than half of them have already been used.

The editor -in -chief of Bordle, Tracy Bennett, admitted that the game will possibly have to adapt to the fact that the list of words is not eternal.

“One possibility is that we could recycle old words at some point, like when we are approaching the end,” Bennett told a word player on Tiktok.

She also said that publishers could throw all the words and reuse them, or allow the plurals, or the past, something that is not done now.
