After managing the WNBA by scoring each of the last two seasons, it has become clear that the Las Vegas star Ace A’ja Wilson is among the most qualified basketball players on the planet. And according to the legend of the NBA Dwyane Wade, Wilson could even have the talent to beat some NBA players in a 1 match in 1.
Wilson’s CV speaks of itself, winning three MVP prizes and two WNBA championships during its eight-year WNBA career. If she continues on her current career trajectory, there could very well be a good case so that she is among the biggest basketball players of all time.

Discussing Wilson’s abilities during an appearance on the podcast “The Underground Lounge”, led by another former NBA player Lou Williams, Williams and Wade argued that there are NBA players against whom Wilson would compete in a match 1 against 1.

Wade did not name any NBA player in particular that he thought Wilson could beat. But clearly, he seems to have a lot of confidence in his abilities.
At the end of the day, any match against Wilson would be a losing-perceive scenario for the NBA player in front of her, where they probably lose credibility if they were to lose, while not getting much credit if they win. In the end, we will probably never know how Wilson would do against NBA competition.
Anyway, someone like Wade, who played basketball at the highest level, is certainly someone with a lot of understanding of this subject. So maybe Wilson really has the skills necessary to beat some NBA players.
