President Donald Trump presented remarks to the memorial for the conservative activist killed Charlie Kirk, where he promised that his organization, Turning Point USA, “will become greater and better and stronger than ever”.

“Charlie is bigger today than it was. Think about it, simply two weeks ago – it is bigger today than two weeks ago. Now, it may not help his friends and loved ones, of whom there are so many, and may not help Erika and those beautiful children who must suffer so horribly during this moment. But they know that it is true,” said the president.

“He is bigger than ever, and he is eternal. He is eternal. And I just want to say, we love him and he is looking at us at the moment and he says,” Wow, it’s a big crowd “,” he added. “And it’s a large crowd of patriots. But that is why I will soon award Charlie the greatest civil honor of the nation: the presidential medal of freedom.”

The president closed his remarks by saying that Charlie Kirk “created something very special” with Turning Point USA and that he promised it “will become greater and stronger and stronger than ever”.

Charlie Kirk, 31, was killed while he was expressed during a Turning Point USA event at the University of Utah Valley on September 10. He is survived by his wife Erika and two children.
