Moving all your music reading lists streaming to Apple Music is easier than ever. You can now import Spotify data into Apple Music in a few clicks and taps.

The advent of streaming music has actually made it easier to change. You no longer move through mp3 batteries, as could have been in the past. Instead, you copy on lists of songs, so everything that needs to happen is that correct traces must be identified in another streaming database.

Whether you want to use Apple Music alongside or instead of Spotify (or another streaming music service), that’s how. Note that you will have to be registered in the Apple Music streaming service, either separately ($ 11 per month for individuals), or as part of an Apple One pack.

Import Spotify reading lists to Apple Music

You can do it via a phone or tablet, either via the Apple Music web application. We will first cover the mobile method. On iOS and iPados, open the settings on your device, then choose Applications> Music> Transfer music from other musical services.

You can find the same option in the Apple Music application for Android by pressing the three points in the upper right corner of the Home Tab, then choosing Transfer music from other services. Whatever the platform you are on, you will then see a list of supported streaming services, which now includes Spotify.

Select Spotify From the list, and the application then asks you to connect to your Spotify account and give SONGSHIFT’s permission of the Apple third -party music switching service to take a look at your reading lists. On the next screen, you can choose the songs, albums and reading lists you want to move to Apple Music.

When you have made your choice, choose Add to the libraryAnd the transfer process begins – you will see a progression bar at the top of the screen, which goes to a confirmation message once finished. Depending on the amount of music you have selected, the process can take some time.

Import reading lists from other services

The process is very similar if you use the Apple Music web application and other streaming services. Click on your Avatar account in the upper right corner, then Transfer music. Again, a list of streaming services currently supported appears, which includes Amazon Music, YouTube and Spotify.

Select, for example, Amazon music– Reducing, you are invited to your connection identification information and your authorization so that Songshift takes a look at your account. As with Spotify, select the reading lists, songs and albums you want to go from the other service, then select Add to the library.

A warning word: the transfer process is not always transparent, and there could sometimes be songs that are on a service but another (especially with regard to YouTube, which has a lot of live and rare recordings).

If Apple Music cannot find exact matches but has similar songs in its catalog, you will see a message in Apple Music saying that some need reviews. You then have 30 days to see the alternatives that Apple suggested, and accept or reject them.

Transfer between other services

This is not limited to Apple Music and Spotify, or Apple Music and another service. The Apple Music third party service uses here is Songshift, which is available as a separate application for iPhone and iPad. You can move music between Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, YouTube, Tidal, Pandora and more, providing your connection details.

A pro subscription is also available in the application, for $ 7 per month. This gives you access to musical transfers of any size, faster correspondence, push notifications on transfers, lots operations, support for several sources and update monitoring – so when a reading list is updated on a platform, the change is automatically paired with the other.

Songshift can actually be used with a multitude of different services.

Some other options also deserve to check, which also use freemium models – so transfer sizes and speeds are limited for free users. One is Tunmymusic, which works on the web and supports an impressive number of streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal and Soundcloud. Unlimited Access will cost you $ 5.50 per month.

Then there is Soniriiz, which works on the web and on Android. Again, a multitude of platforms are taken care of, notably YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify and several others. It has a clean and elegant interface, and transfers are simple to initiate. To delete all transfers limits and have access to all the features offered will cost you $ 5 per month.
