Tropical Storm Erin forms, could become first hurricane in Atlantic Ocean this season

Tropical storm Erin Trained on Monday in the Ocean of the eastern Atlantic, the forecasters said. The storm had to strengthen itself later in the week and could become the first hurricane of the Atlantic of season.
The storm was formed just west of the Cabo Verde islands off the west coast of Africa, said the National Center for American Hurricane in Miami. Erin had to move west. The first models showed that the storm should be strengthened in a major hurricane at a time when it approaches the Caribbean islands towards the end of the week. Drones video sequences published on social networks have shown the consequences of storm floods in Cabo Verde, a group of islands about 385 miles from the African coast. The authorities declared the state of emergency because the crews dealt with damage.
On Monday afternoon, the Erin center was located around 2155 miles east of the northern wind islands in the Antilles with maximum sustained winds of 45 MPH.
There is an uncertainty about the place where Erin goes away this week, but most models show the storm swiveling to the northwest and north, reported the meteorologist at CBS News Miami, Shane Hinton.
The new activity in the Atlantic comes while parts of southern Florida, which are home to two of the largest school districts in the United States, are starting a new school year. Classes Broward County Has started on Monday and students from the neighboring Miami-Dade county should return to school later in the week.
Erin is the fifth named Storm to develop during the Atlantic Hurricane season, which started just over two months ago. A tropical cyclone becomes a tropical storm when its maximum sustained wind speeds reach at least 39 mph. Hurricane is more powerful with sustained winds of at least 74 MPH. A storm is considered a major hurricane when it reaches the force of category 3 with sustained winds of at least 111 MPH.
