Trout hits tying homer and Newman adds 3-run shot in 7th as Angels beat Nationals

Anaheim, California (AP) – Mike Trout struck a circuit that sparked a seventh round of six points, Kevin Newman added a three -point shot and the Los Angeles Angels won an 8-2 victory against the Washington Nationals on Saturday evening.

Kyle Hendricks granted a round in five rounds and the recruit Christian Moore delivered the single leaves with two withdrawals in the seventh. Gustavo Campero also dominated the angels.

CJ Abrams went deep for the Nationals, and Michael Soroka launched six sleeves of two shots.

Washington took a 2-1 advance in the seventh on the single of Riley Adams off Ryan Zeferjahn (5-1). Trout connected to Zach Brzykcy (0-1) leading the lower half for its 13th circuit.

The angels took a 1-0 lead in the second when Ward was hit by a field and scored on the dual game of Logan O’Hoppe. The Nationals equaled it to the fifth on the 12th circuit of Abrams.

Soroka withdrew five and walked one in a decision without a decision.

Salazar withdrew O’Hoppe and brought Zach Neto out with runners the first and third in the seventh and was a shot by escaping jam when Moore hammered a quick ball 1-2 above the area for a simple RBI and a 3-2 angels advance.

Soroka entered with an MPM of 3.49 in five rounds and an MPM of 22.85 in the sixth. But after abandoning Newman’s single head in the sixth, the right-hander started a double game 1-6-3 on the Rengifo group and asked Nolan Schanuel to go out to preserve an equality for 1-all.

The national left-hander, Mitchell Parker (5-8, 4.59 ERA) opposes the right-handed of the Angels Jack Kochanowicz (3-8, 5.49) in the final of the series on Sunday.
