Trump Admin Demands University of Michigan Spill Beans On All Foreign Ties

The Ministry of Education (ED) announced Tuesday that it had opened an investigation into “inaccurate and incomplete” foreign financing reports of the University of Michigan.
ED’s announcement alleges that the UM has falsely declared to funds that he has received from foreign sources as non -governmental stiprights “despite sources with direct affiliation with their governments. The ED requests that the University publishes its financial files, including those relating to foreign donations, provides copies of all the agreements it has with foreign adversaries and listed all students and foreign staff University. “Despite the history of the University of Michigan to minimize its vulnerabilities to malignant foreign influence, recent reports reveal that UM’s research laboratories remain vulnerable to sabotage, including what the United States Ministry has recently described in criminal charges as an ED potential lawyer, said in a statement.
UM did not respond to the request for comments from the Daily Call News Foundation.

“As a recipient of federal research funding, UM has both a moral and legal obligation to be completely transparent about its foreign partnerships,” continued Moore. “Unfortunately, tens of millions of dollars of foreign funding in UM disclosure reports have been reported untimely and seem to be wrongly identifying some of UM foreign donors as” non -government entities “, even if the fundamental donors seem directly affiliated to foreign governments. The OGC will vigorously investigate our campsites.
UM has been on the radar of the federal government for several reasons in recent months. In June, the Ministry of Justice charged two Chinese nationals of bickering biologically dangerous matters in the United States for research in UM. The Education Committee and the Workman announced that it would continue to investigate what it called “the potential incident of agro-terrorism”.
In January, UM ended its two decades partnership with a Chinese university with links with the Chinese Communist Party (CCC) after pressure from the Restricted Committee of the CCP due to a “risk of espionage” and national security problems. The Department of Education of President Donald Trump has given priority to the prevention of foreign influence in American universities, opening up surveys on several universities of allegedly inaccurate financing. The administration even strives to reform the visa program for foreign students in the light of demonstrations supporting foreign terrorist organizations spreading through the country’s campuses.
Trump signed a decree in April demanding that American universities be more transparent on the foreign donations they accept.
