Military helicopters have also been seen flying in the fields, a maneuver generally used to eliminate people hiding.
“It becomes more and more obvious that the actions taken by ice are daring and aggressive, demonstrating insensitivity to the direct impact on our community,” said Luis Mc Arthur, mayor of Oxnard nearby, in a position of social media. “These actions cause unnecessary distress and damage. I remain determined to work alongside our general prosecutor and the governor’s office to explore potential legal avenues to fight these activities.”

Thursday’s raid is one of the many who have occurred in South California, to the great anger of local and state democrats.
Earlier this week, the immigration authorities were in MacArthur Park in Los Angeles doing a raid. The mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass and the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, condemned the operation and the Trump administration for having targeted illegal immigrants for expulsion.

Bass demanded that the federal government end such operations in the city.
Los Angeles and eight other cities have continued the Trump administration, calling tactics used by “unconstitutional” federal agents, arguing that they are used to instill fear rather than to protect the public.
