Trump Announces That National Guard Member Sarah Beckstrom Has Passed Away After D.C. Terrorist Attack – RedState
Just heartbreaking news.
Moments ago, President Donald Trump announced that Sarah Beckstrom, one of two National Guard members who were shot and killed in a terrorist attack Wednesday in Washington, D.C., tragically died from her injuries.

DC U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro shared some information about Beckstrom on X:
Our hearts and prayers go out to the family of Sarah Beckstrom, 20, of the National Guard – a hero who volunteered to serve DC on Thanksgiving for people she never met and made the ultimate sacrifice. May she rest in peace. Now is the time to avenge his death and obtain justice.

Beckstrom was only 20 years old.
Earlier, we reported how Ms. Beckstrom’s father, Gary, told the New York Times that his daughter had suffered a fatal injury and did not expect her to survive:
The father of Sarah Beckstrom, one of the injured National Guard members, said his daughter was unlikely to recover. “I’m holding his hand right now,” Gary Beckstrom said when contacted by phone. “She has a mortal wound. It won’t be a cure.” He refused to speak further. Beckstrom and the other injured Guard soldier, Andrew Wolfe, are in critical condition, officials said.
The newspaper also noted that although Wolfe’s family did not give any interviews, someone who was in the house told reporters they were asking for prayers.
Please remember to keep the victims and their families in your thoughts and prayers. It’s just an incredibly difficult time for them, and for this to happen during the holidays makes it even more painful and senseless.
