Trump Border Czar Targets Boston Mayor in Bizarre Rant

On Wednesday, the border of Tsar Tom Homan, as he used to do, threatened a local elected representative on Fox News.
This time, Homan has targeted the Democrat mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu, who won national notoriety – and the anger of Homan and the White House – defending his city against the incursions by the Trump administration.
Asked about Wu’s primordial victory when she seeks a re -election in November, Homan said: “I don’t care who is the mayor. … They will not stop us. They can stay next to it and look at us do their job. However, they will better cross the line. They will not enter our efforts. Or there will be consequences.
“We come,” continued Homan. “We are going to be there tomorrow. We are going to be there the next day. We are going to be there next month. We are going to be there next year. You don’t stop [us] From what we do.
Last week, Trump’s Ministry of Justice continued Boston and WU on the Boston Trust Act, which limits the cooperation of local authorities with federal immigration application. The DoJ argues that the law illegally hinders the federal government – although the law professor of the University of Boston, Sarah Sherman -Stokes, told the Associated Press that it was indeed in the “constitutional law of the City to limit their involvement in the application of the Immigration Act”.
Wu, for his part, condemned the trial as an “unconstitutional attack” by a presidential administration “determined to attack our community to advance their own authoritarian program”.
“It is our city,” said the mayor, “and we will vigorously defend our laws and the constitutional rights of the cities, which have been maintained several times before the courts across the country. We will not give in. “
