Trump Ends Up Grabbing Press Corps’ Attention After Trying Out Latest White House Addition – RedState
As if you needed more evidence that it is no longer the white house of your grandfather, President Donald Trump has installed a new speaker system, and he decided to run it, attracting the attention of several correspondents of the White House.
It started on Tuesday when Charlie Speering of Daily Mail published an article on X on the way “God injuries America” by Lee Greenwood could be heard from the interior of the White House.
It is not surprising that this song was played at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue NW, in Washington, DC, since Trump played it during each of his presidential campaign rallies in 2024 and I am quite certain that he was to each of them in 2016.

But what was surprising was that Greenwood’s music was played so hard that the White House journalists could hear it from the outside, creating a little mystery for a while. He was not very clear at the time if it came from inside or outside.

“Random Lee Greenwood sounds in the White House, but not really a surprise,” wrote the Daily Mail political journalist on X, as well as a video showing the exterior of the White House with a Greenwood melody playing by a speaker somewhere on the property.
In a second article in Speiring, he wrote the following: “The president tests his new speaker system at the Oval Office @presssec confirms”, confirming that the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, had weighed on the mystery surrounding the day.

And in an article shortly later, the Deputy Director of Information of the Voice of Florida, Eric Daugherty, wrote on the president’s afternoon and his turning music in the White House until 11.
“Now: The White House explodes” God the USA “by Lee Greenwood on the new Patio of Roseons – the song that President Trump has always released on the campaign track,” wrote Daugherty. “WH exploded other 2024 campaign songs this afternoon.”

His video was different from that of Spiering and included external photos of the Pink Garden patio and the newly installed flag pole outside the White House, thanks to President Trump, as Redstate reported.
Reagan Reese of the daily caller wrote on X on Trump testing the speakers of the new Roseraie, according to pool journalists.

And so why was the new system tested? According to the White House correspondent, Kellie Meyer in Newsnation, it is for a party which, hopefully, will take place soon.
Update: the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, brought the swimming pool to the Rose Garden and told them that the president tests the new speakers for “which will be the best event in the history of the White House”.
She said the next party is “let’s hope it soon”.
