How voting maps may shift in Texas and California : NPR

The battle for redistribution of the main parties has intensified this week, the legislators of the two most populated states of the country each making a notable step towards a new Congress card before the mid-term elections of 2026.
On Friday, the Republican legislators of President Trump on Friday, Republican legislators were set for final approval to the lines they hope to move five American seats to the GOP.

California Democrats act in response, aimed at collecting its own seats. Thursday, they accepted a voting measure to ask the voters of their state to authorize the new districts of the congress.
