Trump highlights Eric Holder comments while urging Senate GOP to nix filibuster

President Donald Trump continues to advocate for the Senate GOP to end the filibuster.

In an article published Monday on Truth Social, the president shared a video featuring clips of former Attorney General Eric Holder, who opined that if Democrats win a “threesome” in the 2028 elections, the prospect of expanding the Supreme Court should be considered.

Holder made the comment while speaking with Ben Meiselas, co-founder of MeidasTouch, who posted the video last month.

In the Monday Truth Social post, Trump called Holder, who served under Democratic President Barack Obama, an “Obama sycophant” and said that “Eric Holder (known as ‘FAST AND FURIOUS’) just gave a speech in which he emphatically declared, above all else, that Democrats would pack the United States Supreme Court if they had the chance.” what they were looking for.”

Trump has suggested that eliminating the filibuster would allow Republicans to win the 2026 midterm elections and the 2028 White House race.
