Trump Is ‘Flailing,’ He’s a ‘Shadow of Himself’

On CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) said President Donald Trump is “a shadow of his former self.”
Host Dana Bash said, “The Supreme Court struck down most of President Trump’s tariffs this week. He’s already using different authorities to impose a 15% global tariff, promising to move forward even without Congress. What are you doing?”
Newsom said: “Well, what does anyone do? Are you going to move your factory from overseas to the country with 150 days of certainty on a 15 percent tax or tariff, and the whole thing is a farce. I’m talking petulance. It was 10 percent two days ago, maybe 20 percent tomorrow. I mean, it’s crazy. He’s struggling. He’s a punch-drunk boxer. He’s just, you know, it’s fair Under the EPA, we were the first state to file a lawsuit I was there in the Central Valley talking about the impact this was going to have on ranchers, small businesses and farmers, on the AG community, and on my state greater than any other state in the country. And by the way, our arguments were literally laid out in detail in his response.
