Trump Is ‘Leading Us Down a Sh-thole’

On MS NOW’s “The Last Word” Thursday, actor Morgan Freeman said President Donald Trump is leading the country “down a shit hole.”
Host Lawrence O’Donnell asked: “How would you describe where we are right now?” »
Freeman asked: “Can I use profanity?
O’Donnell said, “You can say whatever you want.” »
Freeman said: “Well, we have someone in the White House who is leading us down a shit hole. Personally, I can’t understand how a convicted felon, 34 years old, felon, felon, is that one word, charge of wrongdoing, to become president. How do you do that? I don’t care. This decision was made before they got into the Oval Office, so it just doesn’t make sense for me.”
He continued: “I’m constantly reminded of Germany in 1935, what was happening there, the Brownshirts, these people marching, especially in Berlin, and rounding people up, putting them in boxcars, deporting them. Now this administration wants to build big detention centers and for what?”
He added: “I don’t know what I would say to young people other than if you know where we’re going, where we are right now and where we’re going and if you don’t agree with that, there was one sure way to change the direction of our country: vote.” »
