Trump Is Trash-Talking JD Vance for Not Being So Gung-Ho on Iran War


At the start of the war, almost 40,000 soldiers were present in the region. Today, some of them have been deported all the way to Europe, while many struggle to continue a work-from-home war.
“Yes, we have the capability to stand up rapid operations centers, but you are absolutely going to lose that capability,” said Master Sgt. Wes J. Bryant, a retired U.S. Air Force special operations targeting specialist, told the Times. “You can’t just put all this equipment on top of a hotel, for example. Some of it is bulky.”
The mass movement of thousands of troops raises questions about how prepared, if any, the United States was for retaliatory strikes from Iran. By Donald Trump’s own admission, he was completely surprised by the Iranian response against other Gulf countries.
