Trump Issues Harshest Rebuke Yet Of MTG

President Donald Trump sharply reprimanded Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene following her recent remarks criticizing the White House.
CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins asked Trump about Greene’s social media post expressing frustration over her meeting at the White House with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, a former al-Qaeda leader, on Monday. The reporter also pressed the president for her comments criticizing the administration on the cost of living and other domestic policy issues. “I don’t know what happened to Marjorie,” Trump responded. “She’s a nice woman, but I don’t know what happened. She lost her way, I think, but I have to look at the presidency as a global situation, not a local one. We could have a world on fire where wars come to our shores very easily if you had a bad president.”
He called former President Joe Biden a “horrible president,” highlighting conflicts that began under his administration. “I started 8 wars, 9 to come. I think I’ll take care of the other one,” Trump said before highlighting the economic toll of the Russo-Ukrainian war for the United States.
“When you’re president, you really have to watch the world, otherwise you risk being dragged into it,” he added. (RELATED: Hell Is Frozen: Liberals Praise Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene)
Trump then referenced his support for the “One, Big Beautiful Bill,” calling it “the biggest tax cuts in the history of the country” before taking another jab at Greene.
“So when someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who’s now on the other side…I guess she’s putting on some kind of act, but I’m surprised by her. But when someone like Marjorie comes along and starts making statements like that, it shows that she doesn’t know.”
Greene discussed al-Sharaa’s visit to the White House to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps in an article published Monday on »

Greene also turned her attention to the cost of living in an interview Sunday on “On The Record” with Atlanta News First (ANF). “I give it to President Trump and his administration: They’re keeping it at 2.5 percent right now, that’s about average, and that’s a good thing. However, life is unaffordable,” she said, turning her attention to health insurance and other issues.
